What is a Media Wall?
A media wall is a modern feature wall designed to create a sleek, stylish centrepiece in your living space. It typically houses your TV, electric fire, sound system, consoles and storage, all nicely put together in a seamless unit.
Unlike a standard TV mount or hanging a TV on a wall, a media wall is fully customised to your home. It can include decorative shelving, LED lighting, built-in cabinetry, false chimney breasts, fireplaces, with perfectly hidden cables and wiring.
Every media wall is designed around the exact size of your room, your lifestyle and the look you want to achieve.

Media Walls Edinburgh is part of Oaklands Developments, created to give homeowners across Edinburgh a local team they can trust to get things done properly.
With media walls becoming so popular, we saw too many people being caught out by rushed jobs and inexperienced installers. We set up this dedicated service so customers could choose an established Edinburgh business with skilled trades and a proven track record.
All work is carried out by our own in-house team of joiners, cabinet makers, electricians and decorators. Every media wall is custom-built, carefully installed and finished to a high standard — no outsourcing, no shortcuts, and no off-the-shelf designs.

Q. WHAT PREPARATION DO I NEED TO DO?
A. Very little. We do all the preparation, which includes a site survey, design consultation, wall preparation (e.g., removing old fixtures, plastering), installation of framework, wiring, TV mounting, lighting and finishing touches - With minimal disruption.
